If your internet connection goes down you can use your mobile as a temporary hotspot for connectivity until your issue is fixed.

To set up a mobile hotspot follow the steps below:

1.    Go to Settings->Connections->Mobile Hotspot & Tethering (your options may differ slightly depending on what type of           phone you have. If you don't see the options mentioned, after tapping Settings use the search facility and search for                    'hotspot')

2.    Choose Mobile Hotspot (tap on the words 'Mobile Hotspot' and make a note of the Network Name and Password which         will be similar to the below:

3.    Toggle the Hotspot button to 'On'

4.    If prompted, turn off WiFi

5.    The Hotspot will now be active

On your laptop click on the wireless icon and find the name of the mobile hotspot you just created and connect to it.  When prompted enter the password that you noted down in step 2.

To turn the Hotspot off, repeat the instructions in steps 1 & 2 and turn the slider to 'Off'.
