Documents can be uploaded in two ways, either directly from your emails or from your Documents Folder on the laptop via Working Files within the IMS.
Working Files
On the laptop navigate to This PC->Documents->Working Files->Unionsquare.storyhomes.co.uk:
Place any documents in here that you wish to upload.
Open the IMS->Personal Zone tab and you will see the documents in the Working Files window:
Select the files you wish to upload by ticking the box to the left of the file and click the Save icon which will open the next screen (note you will have fewer options listed than what is shown below):
Find the document pool you wish to publish to and tick the box. Enter your name in the Contact field and click Finish:
The file will be published and the document will disappear from your Working Files window. You can publish more than one item at a time from your Working Files as long as all the documents are going to the same document pool. Just multi select the documents in Working Files before clicking Save.
You can check your documents have uploaded correctly by navigating to Information Zone->My Published Documents tab which will display the most recent documents you uploaded. You can narrow it down by selecting different folders in the Document Pools list:
Publish from Email
To publish from an email click the Publish to Deltek PIM button in the top bar in Outlook:
The next screen displays a list of document pools you recently published to. If the one you want is not in the list, click New:
This will open the same screen to select a document pool that appears when publishing from the Working Files folder. Pick your document pool and click Select and Close:
When that screen closes click the Publish button. You can tick the box to delete the email after it is published, or you can leave it unticked so the email is retained.
When the email has been published, it will show a small tick box as shown:
