In order to access the X or H drive when working from home or out on site, you will need to connect to the Story Homes network using a VPN. The VPN software is pre-installed on your laptop and is known as FortiClient.
To connect, please follow the below...
- Open the FortiClient app from your list of apps.
- On the left of the FortiClient, click on Remote Access.
- On the right hand side, click on Connect. You will get a notification when it connects.
- That’s it! Once you are connected, you should have access to the H/X drive
If you have any issues connecting, or the VPN option does not appear on your laptop, please email IT support in the usual manner at itsupport@storyhomes.co.uk
