How To Use Yealink USB Teams Cameras

If you haven’t used these camera’s before, we suggest following this guide before you are due to have a meeting.

The Yealink UVC40 USB camera looks like this and has 2 cables on the desk to connect to your laptop.


Plug the USB cable in to one of your laptop’s USB ports and plug the HDMI cable in and switch the TV/Smart board on and make sure it’s on the correct input (see list at the bottom of the page).

Open the Teams app on your laptop and click the 3 dots at the top and select Settings. In Settings, click on Devices on the left and make sure your audio settings match the below screenshot.Graphical user interface, text, application

Scroll down the device settings and make sure that UVC40 is selected for the Camera.

You can make a test call to check your audio is working by clicking on “Test call” in the device settings.
