- When you switch the screen on, it should automatically go to the correct input for the PC which is HDMI 4. To select the input, press the arrow on the side of the display then press the input icon
(or press the source button on the remote) then touch HDMI 4 on the screen.
- The PC can be left on but you can turn the screen off using either the remote or the power button on the back. If you find the PC to be off (you can see a blue light on the front) then press the small power button once and you will hear a beep as it switches on.
- The computers are configured to automatically sign in when switched on and show your development page. If it doesn't log in automatically, press the arrow on the password box to sign in.
- A wireless keyboard and mouse has been provided for the screen(s). This isn’t required for every day use so best to keep it somewhere safe.
- If you find that it has gone to a scenic picture with the time on the screen, just swipe up (or press a button on the keyboard) and press the arrow next to the password box. There is no password to sign in.
Please do not remove/insert cables or change settings unless instructed to by IT.
Shutting the computer down
If you need to shut the computer down, press the ctrl alt and delete keys all together on the keyboard provided andthis will take you to a scenic picture. Press any key on the keyboard then you will see a power icon in the bottom right (as below). Click the power button the select the Shutdown option.
