To use Microsoft Forms go to https://www.office.com/ and log in using your work email address and laptop password.
On the home page that shows, click on the grid of dots at the top right (App Launcher) and then scroll down to Forms
This will show you your Forms home page which shows any Forms you have created or which have been shared with you.
To create a new form click the New Form button
This will show you the Form builder page.
Click the text "Untiled form" to give the form a name and description then click the Add New button to add your first question
There are different question types to choose from depending on your question.
Choose the one best suited and then fill in the sections:
You can set questions to be required or optional using the toggle on each question.
You can also use branching so that some questions are only shown if a previous question is answered a certain way
Keep adding questions until you are happy.
If you want to preview the form to check if it is working as expected click the Preview and this will show you how it will look to the audience.
When you are ready to share the form click Collect Responses:
On the page that pops up, change the options as appropriate for your form.
The Options on the left control who can reply to the form and whether their details are collected. The options on the right allow you to share the form in different ways including using a link (which can be shortened), sending an email or using a QR code.
There are additional settings which allow finer control for collecting responses, including how long the form is open for responses
Once you have shared the form to your audience you can monitor and review the responses by clicking on the Responses tab. Once you have responses you will see stats and graphs and you can also export to Excel.
You can also share the form with other people by clicking the Collaborate or Duplicate and choosing who you want to share with.
