Extending your screens on a Windows 11 laptop

Extending Desktop Screens (Windows 11)

Right click on your desktop and select Display Settings:

On the next screen change the dropdown to ‘extend these displays’:

If you cannot see a second display as per the screen above, check the following:

• The monitor is plugged in and has power
  
  
• The cables in the back of the monitor and in the laptop are securely connected (unplug them and plug them back in)
  
  
• If it is still not showing, restart the laptop
